Our band is made up of a passionate group of life-long music lovers who leave it all on stage every night. The members include:
Joy Santos
Joy Santos is a founding member of the Crown Jewels. She features powerhouse vocals, tasteful harmonies, and she plays a mean KeyTar.
Kris Dove Hoyle
Kris brings her flamboyant style and high energy to every show. She’s never without a bag of cool hand instruments, and her tasteful harmonies with Joy are sheer magic.
Eric Newman
Eric is another founding member. His searing guitar solos, and driving rhythms are a key element of the band’s rockin’ sound.
Pete Hawkins
Pete is our favorite long time drummer. He keeps us grounded in rhythm and grooves, and makes the thump happen!
Rich Hubacker
Rich brings fresh colors and sounds to fill out our guitar section. Whether it’s a vocoder, or some so-tasty licks, Rich helps make our sound complete.
Mike Pinkerton
Mike holds down our low end, pushing the band’s bass pulse along. Mike’s aerobatic leaps and jumps are a “don’t miss” part of any CJs performance.
